Each day during business hours both Personal Counselling and Student Health Services have emergency appointments available. These services work together, as needed, to facilitate crisis care or transfer of care to the Emergency Department at the Niagara Health System. If a faculty or staff member is concerned, the most important thing to keep in mind is Campus Security is accessible 24/7 and can be notified of any emergency situation by calling x3200.
If you have a student you feel needs to be seen urgently, advise the student to contact the:
- Student Development Centre, Personal Counselling. They will book the student into the first available emergency spot. This can be done through their main line x3240.
- Student Health Services has daily urgent care walk-in hours in both the morning and the afternoon. For exact times and location, call x3243 or visit the SHS website
